WeTeach_CS Summit 2025
Join us for the 2025 WeTeach_CS Summit, a 2-day conference hosted by WeTeach_CS, an Expanding Pathways in Computing (EPIC) program. At this event, attendees connect with passionate educators committed to broadening participation in K-12 computer science (CS) and cybersecurity education.
Launch_K5 Computer Science
Launch_K5 CS is a program that empowers K-5 educators with the tools and training to seamlessly integrate the Technology Applications TEKS (standards) into their teaching practices.
Introduction to Programming (K-5)
This introductory programming class will provide elementary teachers with foundational knowledge of computational thinking and coding. It is aligned to the computational thinking and computer science competencies of the STEM for the Elementary Grades Praxis exam (5036.)
Introduction to Programming in Python
This introductory programming class will provide teachers with foundational knowledge of computational thinking and in coding using the trinket.io platform, and will encompass transitioning from block to text based coding in Python.

K-8 Tech Apps TEKS Vertical Alignment Document
The State Board of Education (SBOE) adopted new standards for Technology Applications in 2022. These standards are to be implemented by school districts beginning with the 2024 - 2025 school year.
