Accessibility Basics with Headings

The list on the right shows how each of the headings are styled. Below are basic rules for proper header use.

  • Heading 1 can be used ONLY ONCE
  • Headings must be used IN ORDER 
  • Text must have relatively high contrast
  • Cannot use colors that signify something is broken/wrong (reds and yellows)
