WeTeach_CS Pseudocode Prep Course provides a focused, hands-on introduction to the pseudocode language used in teacher certification exams such as the TExES Computer Science 8–12 (241) and the Praxis Computer Science (5652).
Prepare with a WeTeach_CS course that includes over 100 practice questions and examples that grow in complexity across core topics—data types, conditionals, loops, functions, and arrays. This course is designed to help educators build comfort and fluency with pseudocode syntax and logic through scaffolded activities, from basic concepts to advanced problem-solving.
Throughout the course, educators will engage with pseudocode both on paper and in a browser-based tool called Praxly, a specialized IDE designed to help users write and run the pseudocode used on the Praxis exam. Instructors will walk participants through a variety of example problems, model best practices for approaching pseudocode challenges, and provide tips for mastering key competencies tested on both certification exams.
Whether you're preparing for your first attempt or looking to boost your confidence before retesting, the WeTeach_CS Pseudocode Prep Course offers targeted support to strengthen your exam readiness and improve your overall understanding of pseudocode as a foundational computer science skill.
