This certification is necessary to teach courses such as Computer Science I, II or III, or AP Computer Science A and can be used to teach Fundamentals of Computer Science and Computer Science Principles. Testimonial

"I feel more prepared to take the certification exam and also way more prepared to teach these courses to students."

Testimonial

"This will definitely allow me to provide my students with real-world concepts they can relate to and opportunities of interest. I can also see them being able to think deeper when reflecting on the learning experiences."

Testimonial

"Although I have been teaching CS for a long time, my courses don't require that I teach all aspects like those that will be tested on the certification exam. This professional development helped fill some of those gaps of understanding that I did not otherwise understand fully from other formats (i.e. web search) To talk to someone who can rephrase a statement or fill in with more content is very helpful."
